At Hopewell Brewing we value both the art and science of beer. In this class we will highlight the complex biochemistry involved in the brewing process, going into depth on the various chemical reactions that help make beer amazing.
This 1.5 hour long class will go beyond the standard brewery tour, and will include tastings of many of our beers to illustrate the concepts. The class itself will take place in our brewery, and will be led by Stephen Bossu our head brewer. Not to brag, but he's got international accolades and knows a thing or three about brewing science.
Our goal with this class is to provide craft beer enthusiasts with some more-than-basic knowledge about the complex molecular processes that occur in malting, brewing and fermentation.
